Toeffler the name of the robust, rustic wooden clogs with tacked-on shafts from Berkemann. The origins of the Toeffler go back to the 1970s and they have been part of the Berkemann range, in different versions, ever since. With the suede Toeffler shown here, this Berkemann model in the classic Toeffler form shows itself from its velvety side. The suede leathers used here give this clog a grainy but simultaneously soft look and stand for the original 1970s feeling like no other leather. This Toeffler version also has Berkemanns typical original 5-phase footbed, incorporated into the lightweight poplar sole, which supports the foots natural rolling movement. The toe grip function, which is also stimulated by this special footbed, exercises both the foot and the calf muscles with every step, with the venous valves thus being activated at the same time. Additionally, the shock-absorbing midsole also dampens the step impact up to the backbone.
